Our Services

Faith in Action Caregivers offers services to help older adults in maintaining and improving their quality of life.

With the assistance of volunteer caregivers, clients can maximize their ability to meet their own needs and to continue to live independently.

Volunteers are pleased to offer the following services:

Providing personal transportation to medical appointments, personal business and shopping
InformationInformation & Referrals
Helping to find needed community services and programs

Picking up and delivery of prescriptions and emergency items


HandymanHandyman Service
Providing minor household repairs
InformationMedical Loan Closet
Lending walkers, wheelchairs and other durable medical equipment

Enrollment:

If you are interested in using our Services, or know someone who would, enter your zip code on the home page and you can call to schedule an in home assessment. We will explain the program and verify that our volunteer services are a good match for the potential client’s needs.

Transportation services are limited to seniors who:

  1. Meet the minimum age requirements, of either 60 or 65 depending on your neighborhood FIAC program’s criteria.
  2. Live within our geographic boundaries
  3. Are ambulatory and able to communicate to volunteers their needs
  4. Living independently in their home or apartment independently in the community
